Rio Fortuna was one of the places where I felt complete Pura Vida. Fresh water cascading down the river, pure fresh air, jungle surrounds and the sounds of birds in the trees and running water created a tranquil haven for relaxation and inspiration.
As the clouds cleared, I was lucky enough to witness this remarkable view. I don't know what it is, but to me this view has a sense of majesticness and manages to captivate and inspire me, every time I see it.
A second hike up Cerro Chato was definitely worth it for the views of the volcano and a refreshing swim in the crater lake. I think the views are pretty special even with a bit of cloud cover.
These views really are breathtaking and take you to another place. Mother nature has definitely blessed Costa Rica.
With the backdrop of Arenal Volcano behind the town church, the view across the town square in La Fortuna, is pretty majestic.
Rio Fortuna became one of my favourite places to hangout! It was the perfect place for relaxing, taking a refreshing and invigorating dip or even meeting new friends.
